Attention All Parents...
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 12:48PM
Parents, we are working on a plan for your children.
- If you have children who are babies, we have couches in our lobby (with audio from the service) for your use! Please keep in mind that the curtains are not sound proof, so if your baby is fussy, it might even be better to use the benches in mall outside our space which also has a Video Feed of the service - you won't miss a thing
- If you have children who are crawlers/toddlers, we have secured a room immediately across the hallway of the mall for your child during the service. In the next few weeks we plan to have this service up and running. this will operate like a co-op which means, we will have you involved. Our team leaders are Doug & Laurie Lewellen. They will lead the team of rotating volunteers who will care for our children in the nursery, but we will ask you to join the team of volunteers. For the saftey of all children, we will be doing background checks on volunteers. Please see Laurie this week during our Saturday gathering to convey your interest to help.
- If you have children who are school age to Grade 5, we have clipboards with coloring pages and crayons for during the preaching. Pick one up at the Welcome Center on your way in to our gathering. This is a temporary fix!!! Bring your kids!
- If you have children who are school age to Grade 5, we are in the process of setting up Kids Church which will conincide with our Saturday gathering. The plan will be to keep kids in worship until the preaching and dismiss them to their own class (we have a classroom in our present facility which needs a little work - if you can help, let me know here. Our plan is to provide the children a time in the Bible, time in prayer, and a craft/activity. We will run this like a co-op as well which means we will use parents as volunteers on a rotating basis under the leadership of a Team Leader. If you are interested in your child taking advantage of this ministry, please see Diane Davidson this Saturday at our gathering.
